Privacy policy

Working draft. This text describes how things are meant to work. It must be reviewed and completed (identity of the person responsible, contact address) before launch.

What we collect

The bare minimum: if you subscribe to the newsletter, your first name, email, preferred regions and topics, and the date, source and text of your consent.

Why

Only to send you the newsletter you asked for, tailored to your coast. We never sell or share your information.

Tracking

No third-party advertising cookies. Ads are counted on the server, without profiling. In the newsletter, we measure opens and clicks to learn what interests you: this is disclosed here, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Headline counters

To learn which headlines make people want to read, the site counts, article by article, how many times a headline is shown and clicked. These are simple totals: no cookie, IP address or identifier is kept, and nothing can be used to recognize you. If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” signal, nothing is counted.

Your coast, your device

Your chosen coast, language, checklist and travel dates in the tools are kept on your device, in your browser. They are never sent to us.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your information, its correction or its deletion, and withdraw your consent at any time. Every newsletter contains a one-click unsubscribe link, applied immediately.
